Contemporary Abstract Landscape Painting "Beckoned Away" by Contemporary Realism Artist Carol A. McIntyre

Is this the good life or do you feel like you are on the edge when you look at this painting? Do you want to be on the other side? I paint windows as an invitation to your imagination and visions.
In most of my paintings, I like to create contrasts.  Do you like the contrasts of:  the greens and reds, the glass and the stone, the realism and the abstract? Also, what does the key conjure up for you?
As a lover of red wine, a wine glass sitting on the ledge of an old stone window kept popping up in my imagery. From there, I had a good time creating the various textures that may remind you of historical Europe.

This painting is gallery wrapped, which means it does not need to be framed and is ready to hang.
