Contemporary Abstract Landscape Painting "CRENULATED" by Contemporary Realism Artist Carol A. McIntyre

What does CRENULATED mean? Isn't it a great word? I found it in my "Roget's International Thesaurus," which I recommend highly.  ['kren-ye,la-ted] having an irregularly wavy or serrated outline, especially of a leaf, shoreline, or shell.
This wall and the castle were inspired by a trip to France. The texture captured my imagination as well as those majestic castles that sit up high on the hills. What does this image remind you of? Who or what is behind that tiny window?

This painting is gallery wrapped, which means it does not need to be framed and is ready to hang.
