Hear the birds but do not analyze with internal-words, listen to the water trickling over small rocks without speculation. It’s a common meditation practice called No Mind that refreshes and renews our spirits.

This piece was created intuitively. That means I didn’t have a pre-determined subject in mind. I started by putting random, large areas of color on the substrate, adding more and more shapes and color to compliment was was evolving. At some point, a suggestion of landscape started emerging. From there was simply a matter of enhancing what was presented.
