"Moon Passages," was inspired by a recent long hike I took through a park in eastern Colorado called the Painted Mines. Most of clay, sand and stones are white, tan or pink. It is similar to walking through a shallow canyon. Fascinating formations are everywhere.
The paths are dry creeks, hence I added the driftwood. Also, the full moon seemed to add just the right touch of mystery to the place.
During our hike, we came across many wildflowers. The white primrose was rare, therefore a lovely surprise to discover on our travels.
