Colorful Desert Cactus Art by Theresa Paden

Colorful Desert Cactus Art
By Theresa Paden

"Desert Bloom"

24 x 24"

The desert is so beautiful when it comes to life
with colorful blossoms! I painted this prickly pear cactus with oil paint
on a gallery-wrapped stretched canvas with 1.5" deep edges. I continued the
painting onto the edges so framing is not necessary.

The painting has hanging wire on the back, ready to hang upon arrival.

Here's a close-up shot.

Please visit my website for purchasing information on this painting.

"To The Sea" by Janet Bludau, Abstract Landscapes and Seascapes

12" x 12" on Deep Birch Panel
Ready to hang, either alone or with 2 others you can find on my Website: "Meandering" and "As Far As The Eye Can See"
The wood sides have been waxed with a clear Briwax and buffed

There is a red underpainting applied in the first stage of this painting.
After that I have gone in and added layers, changing parts of the painting as I go.
The last stage is where I took several Oil Sticks to the grass areas and also scratched into the oil with palette knives.

Blue Pots, 8x6 Daily Painting by Carmen Beecher

$99, Click to Purchase
I love the colors of Mexico. This is Number Five in my series of paintings of San Miguel de Allende, and it almost has a Florida Gators orange-and-blue look (but not quite). Spanish style houses are my favorites, especially if they have beautiful courtyards. In San Miguel there are no front yards or sweeping lawns, but the casas' openness and courtyards make it feel as if you are very comfortably living outdoors.
