Parisian Landscape "Musee Du Louvre" by Georgia Artist Deanna Jaugstetter

The most visited museums of the world, Musee Du Louve houses a huge collection of sculpture and paintings! A central landmark of Paris, France, it is located at the Right Bank of the Seine. It is from the left bank of the River Seine where I most enjoyed the view of Musee Du Louve! Photographs of my trips to Paris inspired the oil landscape painting simply titled "Musee Du Louve". When planning your trip to Paris allow several ours for your visit there!

Oconee Sunset, 8x6 Oil on Canvas by Carmen Beecher

This was pure luck. I saw a good sunset coming on and rushed to the shore of Lake Oconee, Georgia. This heron posed for me so nicely amid the pink and purple water. This particular sunset went through many stages of unrealistic brilliant colors and reflections. I will paint more of it, at risk of it looking fake. I'll just have to tone it down.
